There is some serious city block construction going on in Atlanta right now- the Midtown Mile hasn't started, yet and the Streets of Buckhead in underway.
"Soon to be unveiled, The Streets of Buckhead is the southern address for European style, in the heart of Atlanta's cosmopolitan Buckhead neighborhood."
They both claim to be premier walking and shopping-live-work-communities...Is it just me or is something missing??? Lush wide sidewalks (check)... crosswalks (check)...tree lined window shopping (check)... million dollar highrise condos (check)...bike racks (check)...bike lanes....
Oh that's right...BIKE LANES!!! Since the bikes and bike racks made the vision- you would think they'd have a bike lane on those skinney streets in their renderings! Wouldn't you??
